African Nations Championship (CHAN)

This week marks an exciting expansion in the Forever World Cup Simulator with the new tournament of the French Territory Cup. However, this is not the only addition; today, the African Nations Championship (CHAN) has also been released.
This tournament has a distinctive structure divided into six geographic zones:

North
South
Central
Central East
West A
West B

Each zone will host its own qualifying knockout tournament to determine three teams that will advance to the finals. The structure of these knockout rounds varies by zone, with some, like the Northern zone, featuring fewer teams and thus a smaller knockout stage. In general, 18 teams will compete in the finals, including the host nations. The 2024 edition of CHAN is co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, and it has 19 teams in the finals. From the group stage, the top eight teams will advance to a knockout round, where they will vie for the championship title.
