Exciting news: The Early Access Update 0.6.0 for Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy is finally here! This version focuses on altering the gameplay experience to make it more immersive overall. Were eager to hear your feedback on these changes. Here are the highlights:
- Ingame UI Revamp: We've removed the menu display from the left side of the screen. In its place, you'll find a rune stone where small runes represent the dishes you need to cook. Interact with these runes to see their corresponding recipes.
- UI Improvements: The user interface has been overhauled to look as if it's been carved in stone literally!
- New Tutorial: Start your adventure directly in the forest, where you'll prepare your first salad. The tutorial has been refreshed with new camera movements to enhance your experience.
- Changed Interaction Mechanism: The way you target objects for interaction has been updated. Instead of automatic selection based on your character's position, you now need to look at the object with the camera.
- A Fresh Recipe Book: Discover the culinary delights with our new recipe book!
For the next update, our main focus will be on polishing the game to prepare it for its full release. We aim to refine the UI and gameplay flow, along with implementing small yet impactful effects to round out the experience.
