The goal of Sunset Arena has always been to be an arcade experience you can take with you. One of the big limits I've felt is requiring more than 1 controller to play with friends. With just a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, or similar device, Sunset Arena allowed you to play against a friend. Each of you just needs a single thumb stick. Set the device between you and you're playing like a coffee-table style arcade cabinet from a time-gone-by. Of course, that's not always the ideal way to play, so regular controllers allowed for couch mode. Great for playing at home where all your controllers are handy, but a new way to play is here!

Sunset Arena will soon have a control mode that allows up to 8 people to connect over LAN to the game and use your mobile devices as your controller. Whether you are at home, a friend's, or relative's. You'll be able to bring an 8 player arcade experience with you with just your computer, a display and a LAN connection. No more need to carry extra controllers with you to share an experience with your friends and family.

Keep an eye out for the update! Just a few more final touches and there will be a new way to play! I'm excited to bring this control scheme, because I've wanted this for my family holidays and vacations. I hope you'll enjoy it too!
