Completely recreated from scratch
Beneath the Cardboard: Be Happy — a project that turned into a full-fledged remake. The game takes the idea and atmosphere of Beneath the Cardboard, but remains original. All the 3D models, soundtrack, code and design of the game were made manually from scratch.Try to find a happiness in the flow of melancholy
Plunge into an atmosphere of hopelessness, harsh survival instead of a normal life. The wind is getting colder, the night is getting darker and passers-by do not become more empathic, and the only one who can help you is yourself. Melancholic and gloomy ambient and a new soundtrack will help you get into the dystopian world of the game.Look for leftovers in the trash, burn boxes to keep warm, and be careful at night.
Hello everyone! We want to congratulate you on the recent anniversary of Beneath the Cardboard: Be Happy and share some important news. As you know, starting from version 0.1.0 and up to update 0.4.5, we, the Lunsemo Studio team, developed the game on the Unreal Engine 5, which, frankly speaking, did not quite suit us. From the very beginning of this year, we began planning and, subsequently, developing the game from scratch. The engine that will be used in Beneath the Cardboard: Be Happy starting with update 0.5.0 (Forgotten Dreams, Part 2) is being created by us and is called Forthfour. We hope that the waiting will not be too tedious and that we will soon be able to present you a new build of the game.
Lunsemo Studio.
