Hello! Just an announcement on progress and road map for book 2. In the process of wrapping up chapter 5, with some work on chapter 6 done as well. Small little road map plans. Chapter 6 will also be completed this year and work on chapter 7 have been started. In 2026 I will be wrapping up 7 and completing 8 and will be released to Steam late in 2026 or early 2027. Chapters are now much larger( average book one render length was about 1500) 3000 plus renders per chapter and chapter 8 likely will be bigger. This is the largest time gate. Renders take 1-2 hours to cook per render. Animations can take 5-12 hours. I'm trying to move animation work over to Blender, better tools and faster render times are offered with the program. Though its a large learning curve. Book Two will have a lot of pathing, I think my biggest mistake of book one was not pathing enough. I used it as a big introduction to everything and got lost in the sauce. I will also release a chapter 1 and 2 guide shortly after book 2 release. Some other large time sinks in development is curating music. I put a lot of effort into making the sound scape fit and have its way of bringing the scenes to life. Assets hunting and environment building/kitbashing is also time consuming but also a nice way to add those little details that breath life into the game. Adult content really picks up in book to as well. ( Chapter 5 has as many lewds and book one) Now that characters have established a relationships -- things may start getting spicy.
