We are also super excited to launch a brand-new Kickstarter campaign to bring Blue Ridge Hunting one step closer to reality!

This campaign is a fresh opportunity to help shape the games development from expanded tales and gameplay features to deeper co-op systems and investigation tools. While we did have a previous Kickstarter campaign that ultimately did not become fully funded, we would still like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who backed our previous Kickstarter campaign. While it didnt reach its funding goal, the support, feedback, and encouragement we received from this community were incredibly meaningful.

Hey there, fellow Appalachian Investigation Group members!

I just wanted to first and foremost thank you all so much for the support that youve shown me since the launch of the Kickstarter on Halloween! Blue Ridge Hunting is something that I have wanted to make for a while now, as someone who grew up in the area and has heard the legendary cryptid tales firsthand.

Speaking of these legendary tales, in the demo, you will be introduced to the Dewayo, a 6-foot-tall bipedal wolf-like creature. The Dewayo has been sighted primarily in the state of Maryland and is known to let out bloodcurdling screams in the dead of night. Below is some concept art of the Dewayo during the early planning stages to give some insight into the creative process. If you are up to the task, check out the demo with your friends and hunt that sucker down!

While we still have a way to go to reach that 100% funded goal, the demo has improved quite a bit since we made it public the day this Kickstarter campaign launched, and Im excited to share with you what improvements have come to the demo.

• Shotgun is now placed in a more natural carry position in your characters hands.

• Dewayo now runs away when on low health.

• Dewayos health has also been lowered.

  [/*]

[u]Demo Fixes[/u]

• Fixed a bug where entering an invalid lobby code would cause the game to get stuck on the loading screen.

• Fixed a bug where the player would duplicate/spawn headless clones after a save was reloaded.

  [/*]

• Fixed a bug where the clipboard would not remove itself from player\'s inventory after returning from a mission.

  [/*]

• Fixed a bug where the player could still move and use items while on the mission summary screen post-round.

  [/*]

• Fixed a bug where the final profit from a mission would not calculate correctly.

  [/*]

• Fixed a bug where random ambient sounds would sometimes fail to play during the mission.

  [/*]

• Fixed a bug where the shotgun wouldn\'t apply damage to Dewayo when shot.

[u]Upcoming Demo Additions[/u]

• Adding wild animals that you can come across while hunting in the Appalachian wilds.

• A plaster bucket and bear trap items.

• Jukebox in the lobby of the AIG homebase.

• Continued bug squashing and performance.
