Mini Airways is a real-time management game with an air traffic control theme.
You will play as a busy air traffic controller in the game: directing planes to take off and land, clearing air traffic, upgrading airspace ...... And most of all, don't let them crash!

Takeoff & Landing

Control Air Traffic
In addition to the normal arrangement of takeoffs and landings, you also need to face the challenges of mountains, no-fly zones, and peak landing hours, so please concentrate!

Upgrade the Airspace
Every time you finish one day's management, you will be able to pick an upgrade for your airspace and airport: auto holding, accelerating turns, increasing airspace ...... using them wisely will make your work much easier.

Unlock Various Airports
You will gradually unlock more elaborate airspace maps and show your ATC skills in airspace and airports around the globe.

Hello, Air Traffic Controllers!
The Voice Control Mode, which has been in testing for quite some time, is finally leaving beta and becoming an official feature!
Once the update goes live, youll be able to use voice commands on all maps to guide your flights. (Note: Since this mode relies on Windows built-in speech recognition, it will not support macOS or Linux.)
In Voice Control Mode, you can directly issue commands via your microphone in Chinese or English. If recognition accuracy seems off, try training the Windows speech recognition system further in its settings.
A Few Extra Words...
We know many of you are excited about Voice Control, but we approach this update with some nervousnessbecause honestly, we couldnt add any extra features to this mode in past few months, and we couldnt even port it to other operating systems. For a tiny team like ours, that proved simply too difficult.
To get technical: Our voice recognition relies on an external process (a supporting library), and adapting it across OSes comes with massive hurdles. For example, macOS has complex permission policies for standalone processes, and the library itself struggles with cross-platform compatibility. Our devs fought hard but couldnt out-bug the issues that followed.
We also looked into cloud-based AI speech recognition (which is booming these days), but as a one-time-purchase game, recurring API costs for such a service simply werent sustainable for us.
After months of effort, we confirmedthis is the best version we can deliver right now. It's imperfect, but well keep tracking tech advancements for better solutions. If you have ideas or suggestions, we'd love to hear them!
Our main focus next will be on optimizing the mobile version and developing a new demo. As for the voice control feature, we'll come back to improve it in the future when either speech recognition technology sees new breakthroughs or our programmers gain enough technical expertise to overcome the current limitations.
