Act 1 Finale update is now live for all Steam users!

A huge thank you to everyone for your continued patience during this period. As many of you following closely already know, this update was especially challengingboth due to its sheer scope and a few unavoidable real-life issues that impacted the timeline.

That said, were proud to say this is one of the biggest updates weve ever releasedand it features the first major battle sequence in the game. We hope you enjoy this exciting, action-packed conclusion to Act 1!

Looking ahead: On Monday, after taking in some early feedback, well be announcing several important changes going forward, along with the full update timeline for the rest of 2025.

As Novaras braces itself for a terrible battle, our adventurers find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent a terrible Demorai plot from unfolding Before its too late!

Changelog:

New quests:

- Best Friend's Path quest: the girl troubles' markus sharing path for mika quest, with sex scenes

- all-round improvements to mika training quest

- new romance with mika, with multiple sex scenes

- Beneath the Shadows: helping out new character, Carina

- new brothel locations & characters

- sex dungeon summon system with a sex scene for Mika

Big changes/additions:

- new act 2 city w/ locations & characters.

- introduced a save update routine: saves up to version 0.159 (backwards from 0.162) should now be working on ver. 0.162. Perhaps even saves made on earlier versions of the game.

- new world travel code and UI:

- travel now takes various amounts of time, can be fast-forwarded with ctrl, and much more.

- changed/improved all travel maps, added 2 new travel paths

- world map indication of paths & your current location

Smaller fixes/changes:

- last selected combat team will now be auto-re-selected if you have more than 4 chars

- fixed a bug with shop discount not working properly

- Kiara rooftop scene now has a vag/anal choice

- fixed double Elena sprites during shared in thorns quest

- fixed the gangs' slain button during The Dark Knight to behave less weirdly

- fixed tons of typos all over the script

- cinematic improvements in script (better char/scene displays)

- health/energy bars now change smoothly

- fixed softlock during Price of Life quest

- fixed softlock during Nyx guard walk-in scene

- fixed numerous smaller bugs with battle system

- new relationship screen lines & entries for characters

- fixed a bug with selection overlap in combat

- wrong romance indicator on rel. Screen

- lots of other backend improvements, mostly translation-related

- added sounds for fire/poison status effects

- quest history now has a main indicator and also lists all quests in completion order

- fixed skill hit chances to not appear when they're not relevant

New assets:

- better sprites for Regina, Erika, Mika.

- new art/anim for divine parasite missionary sex scene

- new art/anim for divine parasite standing sex scene

- new art/anim for Kiara rooftop scene

Hotfixes:

-fixed a bug with loading a save done mid-travel

- fixed a bug with old version gallery unlocks being a list and causing tons of errors on scene unlocks

- fixed all game quests to not include a debug quest: the game won't display that 1 extra quest you can't beat anymore

- fixed girls troubles' not completing on game load, if already resolved Mika's branch

- fixed Mika romance not starting if loading an old save w/girl troubles quest active

- made lovers' path / friends' path quests complete the other branch silently: this removes 1 (or two in case of friends path') other hidden quest you can't complete during your playthrough

- fixed a few typos

- tweaks and bug fixes for numerous battle skills for Kiara's banshee form, Erika's inquisitor class, MC's parasite black class and more: the vampire's song, eye for an eye, inquisition, defender of the weak, parasite attack, prayer for the dying, old gods bargain, a song of pain, a song of vengeance, a song of rage, (Zanarak's) black light, Kiara transform/un-transform

- fixed bunch of typos

- fixed lots of char sprite positions

- fixed nyx dominant scene happening in love route & corresp. gallery scene

- lizards encounter size now scales off player party size

- fixed a bug with infection death loop

- progression fixes to mika questline (mages path, lovers path, lets celebrate)
