Hello Savages!
We are currently working on an update for game right now that will contain the updates/fixes for the following major game features:
Pathing and avoidance around structures, objects and other creatures much improved
What this means is the AI will be functioning properly again. They will not be attacking you through walls, taking backpack rides on each other or standing around while you beat them in the face.
Animations improved
You will notice changes in the movement and general feel of the enemies.
Increased combat performance
Fights will feel better and there will be some balance numbers updated.
Spawners better tuned for each island
From the numbers of enemies to how often you see them, this update will change the experience.
Kur
All I can say is that Kur will make sure that these lands stay Savage. Need something on this list to remain secret, right?
Now, what does this mean for the big island branch? It is closing for right now because we want to make sure that the base game (the one we shfited to almost year agos with the Unity 5 engine update) is a good solid baseline for you as players and as customers.
This update is currently pencil'd in to be live before Christmas break so you all can enjoy Savage Lands again over your vacations. I will also plan a live stream mid December so we all checkin on the update together and get Zak to draw us something new!
