Strangers On Paper is a story-driven visual novel where your choices will dictate how you navigate reconnecting with people from your past and helping each other towards a better present and future.

Tony has the perfect cure for your writer's block: Go work at his bar, meet some strangers, write about them. Turns out the people you find the most interesting there are not strangers at all, and the front they put up may be hiding a lot more than you initially thought.

On the one hand there's Becca, your best friend's sister and your past debatably unhealthy crush, who is back in town and as detached as always, yet trying to reach out for some reason.

On the other hand, Amy, that popular girl from high school, has chosen to spend her Saturday at a bar that is far away from her seemingly perfect life, on a race to drink her night away.
In every crisis there’s an opportunity, it's up to you to make the best of it.
Last year, we used to talk about this Christmas between the two of us. At one point, it was our biggest (and most ambitious) goal that we would have finished SoP by this time. Things couldnt be more different in our lives individually to where we were when we said that, and yet, one thing hasnt changed: as a team, we are still here for our game.
Despite trials and tribulations, we still get excited over every little step we take in development. We still push and encourage each other, we still show up to do our best, we still look for new ways to do things.
I want to sit here with this page and acknowledge that because theres no hiding that things have been awfully rough. Weve been trying to communicate with you guys through the process of it all - and failing because we always tell each other well write a post when we have a build to share and that is simply and depressingly not the case yet. And I think that may be a stone we are gonna have to keep tripping over before we fully learn our lesson.
I dont want this post to sound all that gloomy despite our name, so I can share that every change and edit we have been implementing has been for the best and I personally do believe Chapter 3 will be well worth the wait, simply because we love it and we ourselves are both the biggest fans and biggest critics of our game. I can also say we are currently approaching beta testing and its almost funny how the idea of other eyes and minds finally digging into something weve been holding onto for so freaking long makes us feel like newbies all over again. The holidays will hopefully give us enough time to finally make that happen, and in between sprints of alpha testing, weve managed to put together a little Christmas treat to stay festive.

Another little thing we can share is a snippet to a song that is featured in this chapter. I mentioned it a while back, but this is a track we made along with a friend of ours who will go by Lipa (not Dua, we dont have that kind of budget) and Javi, who played the guitar for the menu track, very kindly played for this one as well:
We always hope to come back with brighter news for you all, we thank you all for your support, your lovely messages, and the love you show for our characters and this project.
Happy holidays everyone, and a great start to the year!
