We are considering a new feature and would love to hear your thoughts.
In order to extend the game's progression past the main story and once all upgrades have been purchased, we would like to add something called "Techsmith+".
This would automatically unlock once all upgrades in the regular Techsmith have been purchased. A new set of upgrades would be presented. Current list is:
Core ideas:
- Even more damage
- Upgrade that grants chance to spawn hull repair blocks
- Upgrade that grants chance to spawn temporary invincibility blocks
- Upgrade that grants chance to spawn temporary movement boost blocks
- Upgrade that grants chance to spawn enemy splash damage blocks (damages all enemies in large radius)
Potential upgrades (with question marks):
- Even more fire rate (fire rate is a key driver of performance issues though..! Perhaps just a few expensive ticks?)
- Even more fuel (again, longer runs = higher chance of poor performance. Could make the fuel increase marginal compared to the standard fuel tank?)
Any feedback is welcome, but would love to hear your thoughts on these proposed upgrades and if there are any other types of upgrades you would like to see.

This is a new endgame challenge mode. You are tasked with mining through simulated mining shafts of increasing difficulty. This mode includes leaderboard functionality, meaning your progress will be compared to other gyronauts. This update introduces daily runs! Compete in order to get the best score in a variety of scenarios:
Elimination - Defeat as many enemies as possible
Extraction - Get to the chest as quickly as possible
Destruction - Destroy as many blocks as possible
Acquisition - Get the highest score possible
Collection - Gather as many artefacts as possible
Note that only the first run of the day is added to the leaderboard, so make it count!
Also note that you need to unlock the Vault in Campaign Mode to unlock daily runs.

This is a quick note to update you all on what we are working on after processing all the feedback we have received. Our first priority is of course bug fixes, however we have also come up with a roadmap to flesh out the endgame for the levels after the main quest (in its current state) is completed.
