Just made an update to the beta branch with some minor improvements and fixes. You will have to opt-in to the [beta] branch in the steam client in order to access it.
It is possible to rebind keys using the game engine's (Unity3d) built-in rebinding.

Improvements:

- removed the Countdown when restarting a new level. Just start driving right away on restart! A "restart" button may be added in a future update.
- made some Achievements slightly easier ie. the Insane Skills achievement requires a score of 2,000,000 instead of 5,000,000.
- made the camera smoother when the car is spinning fast.
Fixes:
- fixed the random bug where all sounds would be muted except for the distant sound of the engine. This was to do with a Reverb bug in Unity 4, so it is now disabled.
- fixed a couple places players can get stuck in Free-Roam.
