  • Player hosted servers now include Caves without needing to setup dedicated servers
  • Dedicated server configurations have been updated to improve cluster and shard definitions
  • "Trade Inn Preview" branch is now available! (Build: 165915)
Dedicated Server Quick Setup Guide: http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/64212-dedicated-server-quick-setup-guide/ How to opt into the tradeinnpreview branch:
  • In steam click on Library > Games.
  • Scroll down to Don't Starve Together Beta.
  • Right-click, select Properties.
  • Go to the Betas tab.
  • In the dropdown, select the tradeinnpreview branch.
  • In that same properties window, go to the Local Files tab and press Verify Integrity Of Game Cache.
  • Run Don't Starve Together

Notes


  • You have separate save slots when Multi-Leveled Worlds option is enabled or disabled
  • When Multi-Leveled Worlds is disabled, you can host a standalone Forest or Cave only server and use all console commands

Don't Starve Together is the standalone multiplayer expansion of the uncompromising wilderness survival game, Don't Starve. Now including Reign of Giants; adding new characters, seasons, creatures, biomes, and Giant new challenges to Don’t Starve Together.

Enter a strange and unexplored world full of strange creatures, dangers, and surprises. Gather resources to craft items and structures that match your survival style. Play your way as you unravel the mysteries of this strange land.

Cooperate with your friends in a private game, or take your chances with strangers online. Work with other players to survive the harsh environment, or strike out on your own.

Do whatever it takes, but most importantly, Don't Starve.
