All of these above points can be completely skipped and you can plow your way through another tight roguelike metroidvania with killer mechanics (you can kill basically everything that moves), a banging chipmusic soundtrack (we couldn’t afford real music) and more pixel art than you can stomach!

What is this?

This is a prototype of a game we originally created back in 2020, also known as the best year ever. We decided back then to not make this game but now we’re back more broke and desperate than ever and we’re ready to make this thing a reality. To make sure this game will be a success, we asked three friends of ours and at least one of them was very excited, one didn’t reply and one said we should get real jobs instead and stop calling him.

Is this a procedurally generated metroidvania?

Honesty is very important to us and when we're writing this we're not sure exactly what procedurally generated means. But what we've done is that we have a huge amount of different made rooms and each session they randomly appear so every turn is different!

When will this release?

Next year.

The Prisoning: Fletcher's Quest demo is now available!

Hello you lovely people!

I bet you thought we were gone right? Well, youre out of luck because were back with a demo for our new game! As you most likely know since youre on this site we have a new game called The Prisoning: Fletchers Quest and we just dropped the demo! Feel free to give it a spin and let us know what you think. If youre lucky we might be able tofix whatever problems you might run into before the Steam Next Fest kicks off next week!

In the demo youll be able to try an area, some enemies and fight a giant shark boss. Heres what a tester said about the demo boss in our closed beta - I felt like the game teetered into the frustratingly annoying area of the spectrum a few times. Mainly the Shark boss and final boss. The shark boss, I understood the patterns and attacks but defeating it while only being allowed one hit before death is brutal. Dont worry, we fixed all of this now. Trust us.

Thank you all for being fans of the games we've created! Without your support we wouldn't be here and be able to continue making games. It really means a lot!

We wanted to take the opportunity to announce that our next game will be the narrative adventure called A Void Hope and it'll release February 29 on Steam, Switch and GOG.

A Void Hope takes you on an atmospheric narrative adventure to find a cure for a collapsed city. Follow the story of a tormented couple as they try to decipher reality from nightmares and evade the shadowy threats lurking in the dark.
