Border Clash is a tactical, simultaneous turn-based, multiplayer strategy game where you manage resources, build an army and invade countries to expand your territory.
Defeat various AI opponents or challenge your friends to an epic 6-player FFA battle.

Pick your Countries

Choose resourceful countries at the start of your game
Acquire region bonuses to increase your income and resource production
Decide which areas to focus on and which to ignore

Manage your Resources

Trade on the public market to buy missing resources and sell others for profit
Invest in gold to further increase your income
Strategically starve other players of resources they need

Build an Army

Purchase Soldiers, Tanks and Jets - Pick from 3 different unit types of increasing strength
Position troops strategically at the beginning of each turn
Relocate your troops to where they are needed most and surprise opponents with last-minute, pre-battle movements

Expand your Territory

Invade neighbouring countries to expand your territory
Win epic battles by overpowering your opponents with your upgraded army
Defend against invasions by anticipating your opponents moves and keeping enough defenders around

Research Technologies

Unlock 4 increasingly more powerful technology levels
Choose from 28 research projects that provide you with distinct strategic advantages for your game
Economic technologies increase your income and resource production
Military technologies upgrade your troops’ movement and combat abilities

Conquer them all

Challenge your friends in closed Multiplayer games
Participate in open FFA battles of up to 6 players
Score leaderboard points and rise in the ranks

Flexible Deploy Limit - Starts at 5, increases by 1 every 5 turns

Add Science Progress and Military Score to End-game Scoring
Add 'Industrialization' Technology (+50% Resource Production)
Test removing Market Spread (difference between purchase/sell value)

Balancing

Increase Income per Country from $25 to $30
Increase Gold Price from $50 to $75
Increase Price for Research Points from $110 to $130
Increase Cost for "Gold Mine" (+3 Gold per Turn) from 5 to 6 Research Points

The second tech where you'd get +2 points for 8 was removed => maximum production is now 8pts/turn (11 before)

Increased Base Camp II deploy limit bonus from +2 to +10 and reduced SP cost from 8 to 5

Increased Market Stock for Research Points from 50 to 80

Increased Market Stock for Chips from 50 to 100

Increased Market Stock for Steel from 200 to 250

Turn Timer 'Standard Pace': Extra time per turn reduced from +10s to +5s

Bugfixes

Fixed bug where percentage-based resource bonuses were applied not only to countries' resource production but also to flat resource income (like Research Points)
Fixed bug where some achievements triggered for observing (out of game) players
Fixed bug where "Surrender game" triggered the "Win a game within 5 turns" achievement
Fixed bug where Singleplayer game dialog was not localized fully
