Weve just dropped our first official update for A Story About Farting, and its full of sweet, sweet quality-of-life improvements and by sweet, we mean violently disgusting.

Whats new?

Faster, smoother clicking no more fart-blocking animations (except when unlocking achievements). Full mute option you can now mute all game sounds in the settings. Resolution settings customize your game resolution. Rooster bug fixed At 3,000 clicks, your poultry pal should now scream music properly. Autoclickers welcome we removed the EULA rule about autoclickers. Cheating? Nah. Empowered farting. Do what you want, we love it. New gross sounds we've added a few freshly recorded burps and farts to spice up the atmosphere. You're welcome.

We're just getting warmed up (gas builds slowly): Mini-Game Incoming In 12 weeks, youll unlock a special fart-powered mini-game once you get Fatty to unleash a super fart. New map + mechanics A whole new environment is coming, complete with bizarre new features. Steam features coming soon Were closing in on unlocking global Steam achievements, trading cards, and more. Hi everyone!

Were currently working on fixes and updates to A Story About Farting with our entire fart-loving community in mind and for everyone still holding one in. First up (hopefully within the next 23 days), were adding: Option to mute in-game sounds Smoother animations and faster clicking Full support for autoclickers Screen resolution settings Fixes for better Steam Deck performance Adjusted fart frequency + new (equally disgusting) sound effects Next up, were planning a gameplay overhaul: New features that will completely change the meaning of the game and how its played (still in testing a lot depends on budget, since Im not a pro developer and will need outside help). The main goal will be to delay the explosion of the fat guy by using various mechanics. A mini-game you can unlock, with an extra achievement to win The cow will also fart and make sounds More interactive environment (timeframe depends on budget too)
