Shoot lasers in space because a fish told you to. Asteroid Arcade is a side-scrolling space shoot-em-up which tells the story of a man side-scrolling in space and shooting-em-up. This game has at least 2 characters in it.

Features

A story campaign with at least 6 Different Levels (there's 11)
An Endless mode for replayability with 6 different ships to unlock
A story told with branching dialogue paths
Full controller support, cloud saves, stats, and achievements

v1.2.0 The "More Weapons and Stuff" Update

Gameplay
- Implemented an alternate fire mechanic on most ships
- Rebalanced all ship weapons
- Added a "retry" button to the game over popup
- Added a new big wall with guns as a level in Endless

Effects
- Added glow effect to projectiles, effects
- Added particle effects to wormholes
- Added player hit, continuous laser sound effects

Options
- Implemented options to enable/disable particle trails and glow effects
- Added SFX volume slider

Bug fixes
- Fix achievements being spammed when you change profiles
- Make mines actually do splash damage (whoops)
- Fixed multiple particles never being disposed
- Fixed certain enemies and projectiles never despawning
- Fix big explosion sound being too big and explosive
- Fix resolution/windowed options being the wrong size in game
- Fixed level 9 cops travelling across time to be in level 10

Next update will feature more levels in Story mode!
