HELLO GAMERS! This is a small update to the Act 3 Beta I made based on some early feedback, and of course, more to come. Not much in terms of new content but plenty of fixes for what has been currently released. General: - Cutscenes will continue to gameplay when ending, but still have an audio glitch at the start of each cutscene that I can't figure out. Gamemaker is a weird engine and more and more glitches pop up on my old systems with their updates. - The setup screen has a loading bar in case some users take a long time to load in all of the audio groups, but most players won't see this. - Combo Counter is more centered on-screen to increase visibility. ACT 1- - Enemies in the Firepower level will speak less often. ACT 3- - Removed the last level from the parasite facility. Its almost impossible and ruins the pacing. Will be replaced with a short chase scene instead at some point. - A jump near the end of the opening section is much less frustrating now. - You now wont gain seven levels when entering the facility. - Robo snails shouldn't be trapped in weird spots anymore. - The UI elements for the level up and also the fuel and radiation are more centered on screen now. - Finishing the last level now restarts the game. - The level up UI can become transparent if the player is close to the top of the screen - The geode radiation requirement is cut in half. Was way too high before. - Base laser gun damage is slightly boosted. - Rocket fuel no longer exceeds the size of the capacity bar and also will show fuel when picked up. - Radiation no longer still holds someone and plays sound when dying or moving to the next level. - The keycards in another parasite facility level have been axed to simplify the level and let the player take it at their own pace instead of forcing them to hunt down more keys. - Fixed crash with laser gun and parasite nest. - Laser turret guns in the speeder section have been removed. What to Expect in Beta 0.3- - Ability to telepathically shoot enemies straight upwards. - Way to see how much radiation an enemy will require to pick up in the radiation capacity bar. - Music/audio fixes. Remember to go back to the main menu between some sections. - Follower AI fixes lmao. - Likely an expanded Smoke and Speeder Vehicle level and Underground area Me and my friend Othon are gonna be cooking something up pretty soon for a new project, hell yeah.
