[Tournament Details]
Preliminary Stage
During each phase, eligible players participate by joining 4P Hanchan Ranked Matches (Galaxy).
Players will be ranked based on the highest total points accumulated in five consecutive matches on the corresponding stage rankings. The top eight players from each ranking will advance to the quarter-finals. If a player withdraws, the vacant position will be offered to the player next in line, continuing until a total of 32 players advance.
Navigate through: Homepage > Ranked Match > 4P > Galaxy > Hanchan
After the preliminary stage ends, all the rankings will remain available for 48 hours for players to review.
Post-advancement match results will not be factored into the corresponding rankings. For example, if a player has secured a spot during the preliminary stage 1, their match results achieved in the stage 2 or 3 will not be factored into the corresponding stage rankings.
After each phase is completed, an official email will be sent from event@mahjong-jp.com to the top 8 players on the corresponding ranking at their linked email address. These players must reply within 24 hours to confirm their participation in the quarter-finals to ensure their full qualification and eligibility for tournament rewards.
In addition to the 32 advancing players, the top 10 players with the highest total points from five consecutive matches across all four preliminary stages will receive a substitute invitation for the quarter-finals.
Failure to reply to the confirmation email will result in both qualification and rewards being transferred to the player next in line. Once confirmed, players will receive a quarter-final invitation via in-app email before the match starts.
Confirmed players must join all subsequent matches and are prohibited from withdrawing. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of both qualification and rewards.
