Deep Space Outpost is a sci-fi base builder with resource gathering and base management. Create your space station, mine asteroids for resources and make your mission a success.
Features:-
- Build your own space station tile by tile. Start with a small startup craft and expand to achieve your mission.
- Current game modes:- sandbox, several scenarios and station builder.
- Gather resources by mining asteroids or capturing passing meteoroids/scrap. Refine into building materials, water, fuel and oxygen.
- Manage your power production and usage. Watch out for solar storms and electrical damage.
- Build defense turrets to protect your station from space threats such as pirates and meteoroids.
- Trade resources by bartering with passing trader ships.
- Job management - Prioritize worker droids to repair, build, transport or deal with emergencies.
To give you more control with resource gathering, you now have to select asteroids/scrap/derelicts and enable them to be mined/salvaged. This change now enables you to choose which areas to clear first, and also stop your droids from going too far to collect scrap, until you want them to.
Selecting an asteroid, derelict or scrap (stationary), will also now show a red or green overlay to show if they are enabled for harvest. You can also hold left mouse button and select multiple scrap and select/deselect salvage enable.
Patch notes:-
- Asteroids, derelicts and scrap now have a enable mining/salvage button.
- Holding left mouse button, multi select now works on scrap.
- Tutorial updated for new resource selection (mining and scrap).
- New messages for no asteroids selected for mining, no derelicts/scrap selected for hauling.
- Fix: Asteroid 'ore level' text formatting in French/Spanish.
