Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok, is a Norse themed Roguelike enemy hell game, where you’ll have to survive hordes of creatures that come your way.

Fight all sorts of beasts, from basic creatures to Elite monsters and Epic bosses with their own IA. Don’t be fooled, even minions can be pretty dangerous!

Unlock new weapons and abilities as you battle. Upgrade your characters’ stats with Constellation Ability Trees and slay your enemies before they surround you, or it may be too late…

After Ragnarok, Yggdrasil, the World Tree, lost almost all of its energy to sustain the Nine Realms. Only a few heroes survived the End of the World. In this Technical Demo you’ll play as Axeldör, a Norse berserker, Thyra a fierce hunter, and Hafgrim, a master of the elements. Wield a legendary sword, or maybe conjure ancient fire to slay all the enemies that have reached your realm to conquer its remains.

Design different builds and make each run different by using the Constellation Ability Trees to upgrade your damage, area, cooldown and many more stats during each run.

Different maps to play, each of them based on a world connected by Yggdrasil, the legendary Norse Tree
New characters, with exclusive abilities and weapons depending on their role

Svartalfheim

This update introduces the third Realm, Svartalfheim! New and powerful minions, Elites and Bosses await you here. In this realm you will find new Relics, Yggdrasil Leaves, a new Survivor and a new Merchant in Gnkis Realm! At last, all the gold you earned during the last wave will be useful! Expert+

For some of you, Expert mode was too easy to conquer.
Dont worry those who feel Hard is hard enough, for me too (Naya, the game artist).
We know your deep desire to reach your limits and unleash the power of your builds. With this new game mode, you will compete in a Ranking with other players. Will you be able to reach the highest tier? Game Description Image

Fire and Poison

Weve made a few changes about how these two status effects work. And yes, they will now affect bosses ;)

Shrines, Artifacts and Relics

This expansion comes with new shrines that will allow you to get even more Relics. Also, new Artifacts to make you more powerful in case you need them. And let's not forget about brand new Relics + their Ascensions to complete your build.

Beta

We want to polish this update as best as possible, so we will grant a beta access to those players who wish to try the game before its release. That way we will be able to fix the upcoming issues.
Anyone willing to participate will be able to join through a link we will provide via our Discord channel. Thanks so much in advance! The beta will open 1 week before the major release, that is, February 2nd aka next week!
