Remember the fourth drawer in the extra section of the game? Have you been wondering what's hidden behind it?
Well, wonder no longer! We're happy to announce that the game's extra section that we've been working on for quite a while will soon release! We've partnered up with Azam Raharjo, an artist and illustrator who is experienced in making horror manga inspired art.
They've created a horror manga short that delves deep into Mycorrhiza's past to reveal some yet unrevealed lore details. Said short has been implemented and animated by our programmer Alfred, just like the game's CGs.

Welcome to a world of distorted minds
Mycorrhiza is a love letter to horror manga in the form of a visual novel. Some of our biggest inspirations include the works of Junji Ito and Masaaki Nakayama.
While Scott is trying to find a way back home, reality distorts and people’s morals start shifting in cruel and unexpected ways. A peculiar plant transforming animals, a horrifying comedy trend and a strange building trapping people. Each of the three arcs explores different terrors.
As you explore this terrifying world, you'll find out more and more about how and why Scott is trapped in it and what lead up to Scott being spirited away.
