A visual novel is similiar to a COYA (Choose your own adventure) in that you can choose your own storyline; the visual part comes into play with not to unfamiliar to anime-like drawings and animations. But not only that, the game also features several short minigame-like parts which are used to increase your score and let you unlock more opportunities over time.
Your are making decisions for the main character John which is going to live at Jane's flat. Possibly are soon going to possibly establish a erotic relationship, but if she doesn't dislike you and you are pleasant to her.
