Bug fixes in version 1.7.8

Admin Login Error:

The variable name mismatch in game/prolog/prolog_school_paa_chat_talk.rpy has been corrected by changing prolog_school_paa_chat_admin_login_attempt to prolog_school_paa_chat_admin_login_attempts.

Student ID Input Error:

The toint function in game/functions/string.rpy has been modified to handle empty strings and invalid inputs by incorporating error handling.

Save/Load System Issue:

A new config.load_failed_label setting has been added in game/options.rpy to point to a designated label. Additionally, a new after_load_fix label has been created in game/script.rpy, which prevents rollback when loading a save. This ensures that the game does not revert to previous events. NEW saves in the prologueshouldactually work as expected now.

Launch delayed

While the game is now completed content-wise, we are at the stage of having finished major development operations months after originally planned. This is the result of a couple of technical issues that came up and had to be figured out as well as the addition of a couple of late-stage features that were added as the result of feedback from testers. Unfortunately, this has thrown off our beta testing, copy editing, and QA timeline by months. Our beta testers have done a great job and I am very happy with what they have accomplished so far. Our copy editor has been doing a great job and working hard to deliver excellent results. This delay is NOT the fault of the QA team. At its core, it's because we expanded the scope of the game by expanding features, adding some entirely new features, and adding more content. I think these additions were worth the delay and resulted in a much better game. I think adding the features we did was the right thing to do. We could maybe have tried to rush the QA at the end here to make the release date but I have decided not to do that. I have decided in the interest of the players and to honor the work that has already been put into the game, to not rush the QA team, and to take the time needed to do it right. I apologize to anyone who feels negatively impacted by this delay and ask you to allow us this additional time to ensure quality gameplay. The original launch date of November 3rd, 2022 is now delayed until Feb 3rd, 2023 to allow for beta testing, QA, and polish work to be completed.
