Dev Update - Episode 2 Revamp, Episode 4 and more!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give you guys an update on what we're currently working on and all the exciting things to come!

Episode 2 Revamp

There is no way for us to let people properly play one episode without having played all previous episodes. Even though we've added a number of scenes to Episode 2 back in December, we're very aware that it has some fundamental issues that require deeper changes.

With Episode 3 out of the way, we thought it'd be good to revisit Episode 2. We're currently working a revamp that will add new core storylines, remove others (such as the Amber detective storyline) and overhaul all existing scenes. We'll be adding a large amount of new scenes and sex scenes with the goal of Episode 2 feeling completely different, much more in line with the College Kings you know and love, and worthy of replaying.
This update will come Summer 2023 and will be free to all existing owners of Episode 2. We hope that this will cement the longevity of College Kings, as we have lots more content planned for the future!

Episode 4

Episode 4 is fully outlined and partly written. We know a lot of you are wishing for longer, meatier episodes. So with Episode 4 we'll be developing the episode in two halves, each of which is aimed to be roughly the size of Episode 3, so Episode 4 will hopefully be about twice the length of Episode 3.
Once we have both halves completed, we'll be releasing them as one meaty Episode on Steam.

You can expect the full Episode 4 later this year.

Other Changes

Episode 3 Steam Achievements have now been added, for all of you completionists out there!

Episode 3 will be getting minor changes and adjustments when the Episode 2 revamp is out to ensure everything lines up.

Lastly, we've been doing a major code clean up for both CK1 and CK2 with the hopes that it should drastically reduce saves issues, especially for save transfers, which will be released soon.
