As many of you must have heard by now, Stephen Hawking, the author of 'A Brief History of Time' died yesterday, aged 76 yrs.
He participated in many cosmology-related project such as Breakthrough Starshot ; however, his greatest revelation was that the universe began in a singularity, an infinitely dense point of spacetime (also known as The Big Bang Theory).
Thanks to guys like Stephen Hawking we might one day settle in space.
