ESPIONAGE: Mafia Evolved is celebrating Year One of many today! Thank you to everyone for playing so far! Today, we have a much-requested new costume plus some news about what's coming up next. 1 New Costume Added: SUMMERTIDE SEWARD Months before the first round begins, Seward's life is upended on an otherwise idyllic summer day... 2 Balance Updates have been made to Sherring's Special Abilities! Deductive Reasoning: Allows for a public suggestion of the role another player may be playing in the match. If announced as Team Detective, the target has 25 added to their AP Limit. If announced as Team Spy, the target has their AP Limit reduced by 25. True Conviction: Raises your Current and Max AP to 200 until your next turn, [strike]but that next turn is canceled and all AP values then return to normal[/strike]. As your next turn begins, you lose 40 from your AP Limit. 3 Role Abilities for All Roles & Special Stats Gallery! Next, the:supporterrole: Supporter, :informantrole: Informant and :civilianrole: Civilians will all be receiving Action Phase abilities during the next major update. Along with this, a preview of the Voiceover Add-On Pack will also be coming your way within the next month. To commemorate ESPIONAGE: Year One, we have gathered play stats from the first year of matches and will be adding these to a special gallery within the game in an upcoming update. This gallery will remain in the game forever so check it out for some cool play data (and maybe see your username mentioned!) Oh, and . . . . 4 A new mode is coming, and Playtest sign-ups are open NOW! The TEAM ESPIONAGE playtest will begin on September 2, 2023 3:00 PM. This time has already been converted to your timezone! This all-new mode has a completely revamped user interface, and in this mode, players will be paired into teams of two in which any roles can be togetherincluding the Spy and Detective. In 1958, on an island beyond the North Sea, a tournament of deduction is hosted by the last of a once-defunct criminal enterprise. Invited are an assortment of personalities that find there are few strangers amongst them, but all are promised a solitary reward for the eventual winner: "No wish will go ungranted". However, the specialized device each player now wears is used not only to participate in the game but compel them toward revelations none expect.

Gameplay:
TEAM SPY
- Frame the Detective for arrest or Eliminate them and ensure the Spy escapes.
TEAM DETECTIVE
- Arrest the Spy before they escape.
Use your AP carefully
- Action Points (AP) allow you to perform actions with and against other players. Make allies and enemies as you navigate the match and help your side win—all while being undermined by your opponents.
Find as much Intel as you can
- Reaching 100% Trust with another player will allow the two of you to exchange Intel.
- Every list of Intel contains the names of two players who are NOT the Detective or Informant—use this to find your allies, and your opponents, before it's too late.
Be wary of Suspicion
- You and other players will be raising one another's Suspicion toward the other throughout the game—and those with enough Suspicion are nominated for arrest. When it's time for voting, only they are in danger of leaving the match...
