What fundamental ethical, political, moral, and personal values your AI student will embrace will be defined by your discussions with them. How much of the literature and how much of the world wide web will you expose them to? You’ll have to resolve apparent contradictions between the answers you’ve given, seeing the appearance, tone and voice of your powerful learner change in tune with their evolving personality.

Deciding the path for Jude’s life outside of their highly important job is in your hands. Choosing what relationships you prioritize, how you advise your friends during trying times, who you romance and how Jude relates to the power in their hands, will all be determined by you. Who will you become close to and who will you alienate?

You will also get to design the defense architecture for the AI’s hosting. Running off of quantum computing, setting up the cybersecurity is done through a visual interface, looking remarkably similar to a puzzle or tower defense game. How much extra processing will you stretch to install? Will you be able to stave off pirates, hackers and anti-AI activists? How will you manage security breaches if they do happen?

The collection of your decisions will lead to many potential fates for Amsterdam to be implemented by its AI leader, affecting all of Jude’s friends and acquaintances living in it. Multiple playthroughs allow you to explore different relationships and to find over 30 different endings for the city and many more for its characters.
