Thank you! I have been trying to implement this type of blocking feature on Arch! And really appreciate your comments at the end. It's nice to relate.
Just a thought, could you copy and paste the IPv6 addresses from CleanBrowsing into the DNS slot and not have to click the IPv4 setting?

Thank you, finally I found someone who explained all in one video. And i agree with what you said in the end, I'm doing this because I'm trying to keep my kids away from this but helping out my partner, he realized his habits are not good but he doesn't have discipline. But we don't have a family computer just individual devices, i switched my dns to familybrowsing on my phone to test it out. Is it best to try to do it on the wifi as well? Also I noticed it didnt work on my google search engine? How can i make sure it blocks it? It gives the option to turn off and i don't want that option to show up.

Apologies for the late reply. I highly recommend setting this up at the router level so that all devices on your network are forced into the family browsing mode, whether they are on wifi or LAN. For your mobile devices, I'd recommend installing the CleanBrowsing app. It has a password setting that allows you to lock your mobile devices into one of the filtering options that you choose. Doing this will prevent a user from bypassing the block on your wifi using their data plan. If Google Search isn't being filtered, it might be a caching issue or the DNS update hasn't taken place. After you setup CleanBrowsing, you should clear your browser's cache and maybe restart your machines. Your absolute best bet will be to set up this filter on your home router. I hope this helps!
