I don't understand the point of game consoles anymore. PCs seem to make the most sense for entertainment at this point.

Exactly. I don't see the appeal anymore. The 360 itself had a lot of personality in its UI and UX, but even the 360 started to go for a more "sterile" aesthetic over time through software updates. Creativity and unique features seemingly died in that console generation.

Just to be clear: I don't hate the idea of consoles. I just think they aren't as unique or enjoyable as they once were compared to the various PC options that exist today (handheld, mobile, Desktop, etc.)
