Hi @kyjorei I had some trouble setting up Elden Ring on Arch Linux + Hyprland (Wayland) Steam Proton Experimental + 3080Ti. When I launch the game, in Borderless Windowed mode, I am able to set any resolution I want, but in Fullscreen mode, I'm only able to use lower resolutions. I have monitor scaling turned off for xwayland. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'd also love to see a guide from you on setting up Elden Ring HDR on Linux.

I haven't tested Elden Ring with Wayland because I'm not currently using Wayland. As for HDR, it appears that even Windows users have issues with HDR and Elden Ring. I've never had a need for HDR, so I haven't tested it. There are a few mods available on NexusMods that appear to support enabling HDR, so I recommend checking those out.

Had to remove 'gamemoderun' for the game to launch and it does indeed crash if you launch game > enable RT > load game. so, I launched game > disabled RT > loaded game > enabled RT > quit to menu > load game and it worked. Hopefully Valve adds proper support soon, but in the meantime this trick will have to do. Thanks for the help! For anyone curious: I'm on the latest PopOS Nvidia edition as of 3/25/2023 and I'm using a 4070Ti.

for gamemoderun to work you need gamemode installed
