Thanks so much for this :) Really helpful for me. Would love to see one on installing themes i.e Numix etc. Also tiling window manager like AwesomeWM or i3, they look cool, but I have no idea how to set them up in Arch :D

Is there a text file out there somewhere with just the list of commands from this series? Also, since this is a year old, has anything changed? Currently I am installing on VMware Workstation 12, but plan on either moving it to my ESXi host or just redoing it in my VMware Cluster. Thx.

are you wired or wireless? if wired, you need to boot into the usb, then mount and chroot into your arch install, and enable dhcpcd on your ethernet adapter boot into usb, then: mkdir /mnt/root mount /dev/sda3 /mnt/root (replace sda3 with your root partition) arch-chroot /mnt/root ip link after you do ip link, find the item listed like enp0sXXX then: systemctl enable dhcpcd@enp0sXXXX exit umount -R /mnt remove the usb stick reboot and try to ping google again.

I really want to thank you for this video. It helped me back then to install arch. Having some visual on good(/quality) installation was amazing thing for me. Still using the same arch I installed.
