I've been playing Tekken 7 with proton-ge for a year already, glad those fixes are (unbearably slowly) coming to mainline proton.

The problem is that GE-Proton often uses fixes that Valve can't legally do. Eventually they do hope to support everything possible of course.

I wish I knew where to find an official statement of like "Hey we support paladins on proton now officially! We checked the box!" Cause from what I've seen it just kinda started working one day with no fanfare. They said they wanted to do it but it would be nice to see an official confirmation of "It's here" so I don't have to worry about an account ban.

No matter what you won't see an account ban, because you're not actually doing anything wrong and now even Valve themselves are saying it's Playable as of this Proton Experimental release.

Watching this I noticed a bug, in options you have ability to choose hud type and there are 2 option but on your gameplay it is kinda like you have both of them selected with one completely broken. You see these 4 empty boxes at the top of the screen? These are the part of that broken hud, they shouldn't be here, especially that they are misplaced also. It is not game braking or anything but it is there.

@@gamingonlinux Alright I tried it as it was one of few games that I am dual booting for, and this bug didn't accrued at all and the one you had also did not happened. Surprisingly the game on par if not better with Windows. I only encountered one bug and I strongly believe it is just a game error, nothing that Proton can fix. So I think it is just Steam Deck being a bit too weak for that buggyness, as I said the weaker machine you have, the more buggy the game is. But it is amazing it works (I hope I won't get banned or anything, I am playing since open beta started which was I believe in 2016)

@@gamingonlinux Also, did you test it on a desktop? Paladins runs worse on worse machines, I know it sounds obvious but Paladins is special it just more buggy there with weird issues that does not appear on stronger machines.

Been playing since this patch came out and oml it runs so much better than windows for me, The frame times and weird lag spikes are gone

Hey look i did like u said and checked the box there with the proton experimental but i have a glitch with paladins. Whenever i join the shooting range i can play in there for as long as i want but when i join a normal match or a bot match after like 10 seconds of being on the map i get kicked out of the match. Can you please help me?
