Fingers crossed that it arrives soon for SteamOS! With how many updates gaming mode has had there is no clear reason why desktop has stagnated so much. At least push it to the preview channel!

I also hope it comes to steam OS, though I think prioritizing gaming features (like the different screen refresh rates) is the right call for Valve to make. Once gaming mode has all the features, they can give desktop more love (they have at least fixed the keyboard and the outdated Firefox)
