I just got a spam reply, on the latest Red Letter Media video. First I deleted my comment and re-posted it, but the spammer posted another spam reply a few hours later. Then I reported the spam comment, but so far it's still there. (They even used Red Letter Media's icon for the spam account.)

They seem to parse some certain keywords and if some currency is stated in the comments and concentrate on tech and gaming blogs.

These things are everywhere. I'm sure it's a harder problem to fix that I'm guessing but there are some obvious things Google (a trillion+ dollar company that does a tone of machine learning and AI research) could perhaps test for to automatically flag these kinds of posts. Pretty depressing they don't, and there are a bunch of other common Youtube scams I've seen that don't seem to be getting dealt with either. Anyway, thanks for the warning, and even more thanks for all the work you put into your usual content!

Yup, YouTube comment bots have been out for control for like 5 years now, spamming dangerous links everywhere

I delete and report about 1 bot post a day on average even comments like that 0:51 True or not because it's spam in my eyes and not what I want to see when posting or running my channel.

Yep common issue everywhere now. I've lost track of how many times I've seen it now. It started for me on lmg vids and has spread to other channels....
