I’m not gonna lie if a normal user tried it and it took that long for the game to boot up they might just quit before it really starts and think it doesn’t work. That’s not a pass for Konami though, If you’re paying people to test stuff, the least they could do is wait 20 seconds to see if the game really starts up or not.

I have to wonder if some Steam Deck user complained to them that it didn’t work because they wouldn’t wait longer than 10 secs, so then Konami reacted by saying that game doesn’t work on the Steam Deck, so they wouldn’t get more support requests. 🙄

Konami goes out of its way to sell the lowest amount of games it can. From cancelling Silent Hills, to using the FOX engine and remade MGS3 assests only for a pachinko game, to ditching all videogames except PES, to renaming PES to efootball, every move this company does ensures every customer is dissatisfied.

The only mostly positive part of Konami is Bemani. But even they have done some stuff like remove NOMA's Brain Power from Sound Voltex just because NOMA didn't want Bemani exclusivity.

@@Ray-dl5mp i grew up playing konami's castlevania, contra, ninja turtles, etc on nes. Fond memories shared with close friends that im still friends with til this day. I considered Konami more than just a company but an extension of my friends that i hold dear. What they are now is like watching one of your friends turning to drugs and wasting their life away when they showed so much potential in their youth. How would your friends and family feel if you were shooting up in an alley somewhere. Its pretty disappointing.

Only thing that doesn't work is that it doesn't support native 800p, which is perfectly capable of displaying the games integer-scaled with no horizontal black bars and nearly no vertical black bars. Not like you shouldn't be using mGBA anyway.

43 seconds load time is far from perfect, maybe due to slow storage you are using? Its nice to see it working here but the port is flawed in several ways when I compare it to my original copies on original hardware.. Still nice to have the option here.
