Well, I'm definitely looking forward to trying Solasta: Crown of the Magister on the Steam Deck. I already play on my Linux PC, so I know it works on Linux, just not sure what the experience looks like on the Steam Deck. I love the control scheme with my Steam controller though, it definitely makes the game more accessible, in my opinion. But that's my 2 cents, or pence, if you like.

i am more excited about the linux native version of beamng drive that should come the next days. this is going to be awesome on the deck.

I really want SD Gundam g generation cross rays to be playable on the steam deck

I want No More Heroes 2 to run on Steam Deck I had to emulate it thus far but it locked at 30fps through emulation due to framerate being tied to animations but I own No More Heroes 1 and 2 on PC and would love to play them on my Deck.

For me as an 64GB owner, I am asking myself, together with thousands of other players with the same problem, when Valve is going to release a fix/setting for to put compatdata and precached shader files together with the to be installed game on the same MicroSD card as an option. Due to the fact, that I have installed a good amount of games on five different MicroSD cards, my main storage of the 64GB model is full to the brim, with just a little bit over 2GB left of disk space. So I have to tinker and do the moving of the corresponding folders (after searching the game on protondb with the number) and relinking them to the folders, they came from. After such a long time, knowing this problem, it is a shame, that there is still no solution for it. I have a big pile of shame in my Steam account, but this problem would prevent me from buying some more ones like Cyberpunk, Forza Horizon and the upcoming Uncharted for my system, if I would do that myself. Bad marketing, IMHO. Because Valve loses money on the consoles, but making profit from selling games. And - not everyone is a tinkerer.

Just For The Record, Steam Deck Isn't A Console, It Never Was, N Was Never Advertised As Such, Valve Made That Clear Since Day One. And They Also Made It Clear, They R In No Way In The Market For Being Competitive. 😉😎 However, They Do Listen, Might I Suggest Rather Writing Ur Complaint Here, Respectively Speaking Of Course, U Write A Report Ticket To Them, They Really Do Listen To Their Customers. 🤝

Any chance you could help me? Trying to get Thymesia working on my Steamdeck. It runs fine at 60FPS on medium settings but the moment an enemy swings their weapon at me and hits me, my game freezes for almost thirty seconds then goes back to normal unless they land another hit. I’ve posted on the Thymesia forums in Steam. Apparently i’m the only guy in the world with this problem. I have tried EVERYTHING i can think of. No one is of any help and i can’t refund the game at this point either.

hey, i tried using proton experimental for a game. and it wouldn't work. I looked in my library and found proton experimental but it is stuck on "download queued" i tried to download it and it keeps just pausing itself. any fix for that?
